Our Chinese Principlas have through introduction of technology and consecutively produced a number of seamless pipe production lines in cooperation with German SMS and SPS, American Morgan, Japanese Komatsu and Italian Danieli, etc., including 140 mm seamless pipe continuous mill train for Baosteel, 170 mm three-high pipe mill train for Daye Steel , 89 mm half-floating-mandrel seamless pipe continuous mill train for Hengyang Pipe Mill, 180 mm less-housing limiting-motion mandrel continuous pipe mill train for seamless-pipe continuous-mill-train factory, 159 mm and 340 mm seamless pipe continuous mill train for Panzhihua-Chengdu Steel, etc. Besides, it has, through its effort, designed 159 mm less-housing mandrel-limiting-motion continuous pipe production line with its own intellectual property right and 140 mm seamless pipe production line.

2. 140 mm dia Seamless Pipe Continuous Mill Train The complete equipment in Φ140 continuous pipe mill shop for Baosteel was the firs heavy-duty equipment with first introduction of technology from Mannesman, Demag, West Gremany in our country for co-production. The imported equipment approximately covered 25.5%, the local manufactured portion 74.5%. The yearly output of various pipes is approximately 0.55-0.58 million tons. 3. 340 mm Continuous Pipe Mill 340 mm dia Continuous pipe mill is the hot rolling pipe production line which was manufactured by TYHI in cooperation with SMS, Germany. With the help of this train139.7~ 426 mm O.D. steel pipes with different applications may be produced, with the yearly output reaching 0.5 million tons.
